Octopus in the Basement

I’ve been away for a few days, I know.

I’ve been busy at work, and we’ve been getting estimates for replacing the old octopus downstairs, a 116-old gravity furnace. We got the first estimate in and it’s…

A New BMW Z4 Convertible!

Which, frankly, I’d rather buy with that kind of money.

Granted, that includes asbestos removal, A/C, humidifier, filtration, new water heater and a brand new heating&A/C system for the attic. But still….

We’ve got another estimate due Monday. We’re keeping my fingers crossed. Wish us luck.

Yep. BOTH of us are keeping his fingers crossed. Sometimes he tries to uncross them, though, so I’ve had to duct tape them in position.
The work of a good wife is never done. 😉
